High-End AKM Velvet DAC Setup:-
FiiO has equipped the latest K9 AKM with AKM’s latest high-end Dual DAC arrangement featuring one AK4191EQ and one AK4499EX DAC chip. They provide exceptionally clean sound signal decoding with the K9 AKM, ensuring high-class performance with ultra-low distortion and high SNR and DNR performance. Paired with XMOS XU208 USB processor, the K9 AKM supports decoding for high-res 32-bit/768kHz PCM and Native DSD512 audio signals.
High-Power THX Amp Section:-
FiiO K9 AKM features a powerful amp section featuring THX AAA 788+ amp chips. They are designed in a fully balanced architecture with up to 2W per channel output available on the balanced port. With such strong output, the K9 AKM can easily drive most Headphones and IEMs without breaking a sweat.
Precisely Designed Circuit For High-End Performance:-
FiiO K9 AKM features a precisely designed HiGi audio circuit for enhanced high-end sound performance. The DAC/AMP has a six-stage audio circuitry to ensure a pure and delicate sound performance. The I/V conversion, LPF Filter, Digital Volume Adjustment, Buffer Amplifier, Pre-amplifier, Post-stage Drivem, etc. everything is professionally designed for a true high-resolution audio performance.
Clean and Stable Power Supply:-
The digital and analog portions of the K9 AKM DAC/AMP have an independent power supply that greatly enhances the performance with reduced interference between the two circuits. The power stabilisation and filtering within the audio circuit is done using multiple LDOs ensuring excellent sound quality performance. Each stage of the audio circuit features ultra-low-noise LDOs for voltage regulation.
Clear, Crisp, Precise Performance With Dual-Mode Clock Management:-
FiiO has featured dual-mode clock management design on the K9 AKM. Using multiple ultra-low jitter femtosecond crystal oscillators, the K9 AKM has enhanced playback with accurate sound reproduction.
High-Res Bluetooth Input:-
FiiO K9 AKM supports a bunch of input options including USB, Coaxial, Optical, Bluetooth, etc. The Bluetooth input is handled by Qualcomm’s latest QCC5124 Bluetooth chipset with high-resolution transmission protocol support such as LDAC, AptX HD, AptX Adaptive, and more.
Compatible with UAC1.0 & UAC2.0 USB Modes:-
FiiO K9 AKM has full support for both UAC1.0 and UAC2.0 USB connection modes. This makes the device compatible with a wider range of devices. The device also has full integration with FiiO Control application where users can play around with digital filters and get their preferred output with the K9 AKM.
