Aune is a China-based audio equipment manufacturer, they have proficiency in manufacturing audio products like desktop DAC/AMP’s and many more. They are widely known for their portable headphone amplifier like the Aune B1s. They released a new DAC for desktop setups in the last year, the Aune X8.

Hi-Fi Sound Decoding:-

The Aune X8 is equipped with a in house developed FPGA DAC chip which provides a cleaner and noise-free sound decoding, The DAC is able to decode PCM up to 32-Bit/768kHz, or DSD up to DSD512 natively. The output has a clear, dark background, the sound is decoded with utmost precision. There is no noise floor or distortion in the sound output.

Multiple Input Options:-

You get multiple input options with the Aune X8, it can be provided input through the USB, Coaxial, or Optical input options. Please note that the Aune X8 supports PCM 32-Bit/768kHz only through the USB input method, through Coaxial and Optical input it supports PCM up to 32-Bit/ 384kHz, and DSD up to DSD128.

With a USB input option, you can easily use this DAC with your smartphones and digital audio players with USB sound output option, please note that separate cables might be required for this and they are not included in the package.

Interchangeable OP-Amp design:-

In Aune X8, you can change the OP-Amp as per your listening preferences, the device features a dual-Amp interchangeable design. A box and OP-Amp interchangeable tool are included in the package.

Natural Timbre, Brilliant Sound:-

The Aune X8 decodes the sound in its natural form, the way it was recorded. The sound features a natural timbre quality, wider staging, with a wide dynamic range and depth to the stage. Even the micro details are reproduced beautifully with brilliant decoding.

Seven Filter Options:-

There are seven different sound filter options to choose from, each of them offering a crisp and clear sound output.

RCA Output:-

The Aune X8 offers a fixed Line out via the RCA ports on the back, the device also features a variable pre-amp output that uses an analog potentiometer which enables it to use it easily with amplifier to provide output to Hi-Fi speaker systems.
