Shanling has introduced the latest Sono S, an all-new three-driver hybrid pair of in-ear monitors. It’s a stunning pair crafted using high-precision molding technology and further enhanced with hand-polishing techniques. Shanling SONO S comes as an upgrade to the highly acclaimed “Sono” IEMs that were released back in 2023. It adopts a coaxial dual dynamic driver setup housing a 9.2mm and another 6.8mm dynamic driver unit; both these drivers have a titanium-plated diaphragm and a flexible PU suspension edge. The 9.2mm driver unit delivers a solid punch in the lower-end while the 6.8mm driver is tuned to produce a crisp and defined midrange response. This two DD setup is combined with a customized balanced armature driver for enhanced high-frequency extensions. Shanling Sono S comes with swappable nozzles, which bring two unique sound tuning options for the users, Standard Mode and Atmospheric mode.
