Newly-Developed FPGA Architecture:-
Matrix X-SPDIF 3 features dual femtosecond clocks from Accusilicon as the reference clock source to accurately restore a natural sound. They work on 44.1kHz and 48kHz and their multiple sampling rates. It automatically performs the frequency division and switching control, powered by an independent ultra-low noise LDO.
Multiple Output Options Including IIS-LVDS:-
X-SPDIF 3 brings a bunch of output options including IIS-LVDS, Coaxial, Optical, and AES. It can be configured to 4 kinds of IIS-LVDS interface definitions by toggling the switch on the bottom of the unit. It matches various back-end devices and makes it compatible with a wide range of applications.
Dual Clock Mode:-

In order to connect the X-SPDIF 3 to different devices, it can be configured to 2 different clock output modes. This can be done using the switches on the back of the unit.
DoP Conversion Function:-
X-SPDIF 3 features DoP conversion function which converts DSD DoP to native DSD output. It outputs through the IIS-LVDS port directly. It makes it easier to achieve native DSD support on supported devices.
External Power Supply:-
X-SPDIF 3 supports both USB power and external power supply. It has a dedicated LED indicator that indicates the power status. When using the X-SPDIF 3 with weak power sources such as smartphones and tablets, you can add an external power supply to drive the device stably. It automatically disconnects USB power when external power is connected.
CNC Machined Aluminum Alloy Chassis:-
Matrix Audio has designed the X-SPDIF 3 with a CNC-machined aluminum alloy chassis. It not only gives the device a premium finish, but also protects it against electromagnetic interferences, and also reduces mechanical vibrations.
