The Main Purpose Of HS01:-

Topping HS01 is designed by professional engineers with an aim to prevent the ground loop noise in the audio chain between the source and the DAC. It effectively improves the sound performance of DAC by reducing the background noise caused by the ground loop in the output signal.

You can call the HS01 a ground loop killer. It electrically isolates the DAC from the noise caused by the power flowing through the ground connections in the source device(In most cases, a PC).
